Service Description

All great cooks started with the basics. Learn how to properly use your kitchen knives and tools, how to select, use and store spices and staples as well as which pots and pans to use for what. You'll learn the difference between sauteing and pan frying, when to boil, simmer or stew and how to roast, broil, bake and grill. The recipes I'll provide will take you through all of these techniques and I'll show you how to cook using these methods without a recipe. At the end of the 8 week course I'll help you plan a dinner party so you can show what you've learned to your friends and family. Individual classes with a single focus are are also available to help you hone up specific skills.
